Want to see Cherry Blossoms in the Durham region?

Sorry to say they don't have any. Here is a list of places you can see them. High Park is the closest. Maybe we should approach the local city hall about this. If you plan on going

Bloom window is VERY short (about 1–2 weeks)

Usually peaks around Mother’s Day weekend in Ontario

Weather can kill the blooms fast (rain = petals gone)

🌳 High Park (BEST option)The most famous cherry blossoms in Ontario

Huge clusters of sakura trees

Peak bloom = late April → early May

🌿 Trinity Bellwoods Park

Smaller but still very aesthetic

Less chaotic than High Park

🌸 Centennial Park

One of the largest collections in Ontario

Way less crowded than downtown spots

🌺 Kariya Park

Japanese-style garden

Over 300 cherry trees, super peaceful
